Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Wildwood Live (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Wildwood Live is a hyperlocal information app for Wildwood, New Jersey. It shows estimated boardwalk crowd levels, weather, tide, surf, traffic, live music, events, places to eat, and an AI-generated trip planner. Some features (delivery, push notifications, paid coupons) may be added over time and may not be available to all users.

The Service uses public webcam feeds analyzed by AI, weather data from Open-Meteo + NOAA, traffic data from Mapbox, and other third-party sources. We don't own this underlying data and can't guarantee its accuracy or availability.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating one, you confirm that you are. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Tell us at support@wildwoodlive.app if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

You agree NOT to:

• Scrape or programmatically extract data from the Service.
• Resell, redistribute, or re-publish content from the Service without permission.
• Impersonate a business, post fake reviews, or otherwise manipulate the listings.
• Use the Service to send spam, harass other users, or violate the law.
• Attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent technical protections.
• Use automation, bots, or large-scale crawlers on the site.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

We work hard on accuracy, but the Service is informational. Specifically:

• Boardwalk score (0–100) is an AI estimate from webcam footage. It can be wrong, especially during bad weather, unusual events, or camera outages.
• Weather, sunset, tide, traffic, water temp come from third-party APIs. We pass them through; we don't verify them. Forecasts more than ~3 days out are less reliable.
• Lifeguard / beach flag info follows the published NJ shore schedule. Real conditions on the beach take precedence — always defer to lifeguards and posted signs when present.
• Events + live music data is scraped from public sources. Times, venues, and lineups change. Confirm with the venue.
• Trip planner suggestions are AI-generated from forecasts that may shift. We adjust them daily but can't guarantee any specific recommendation will work out.

Do not rely on Wildwood Live for safety-critical decisions (ocean conditions, severe weather, road closures, etc.). Use official sources.

Coupons shown in the app are offered and honored by the listed merchant, not by Wildwood Live. We display the offer on behalf of the merchant; we don't guarantee redemption, validity, or available inventory. Disputes over a coupon are between you and the merchant.

Each coupon has redemption limits set by the merchant (per-user and total). Reaching those limits is final. Coupons may be revoked by the merchant at any time.

When you create an itinerary, subscribe to an event, save tile preferences, or share a trip link, that data is yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and use that content as necessary to operate the Service.

If you share a trip link with another person, that person can view your itinerary. You can revoke the link at any time from the trip planner.

The Service's code, design, original content, and trademarks (including the "Wildwood Live" name and logo) belong to us. Third-party content (webcam imagery, weather data, event listings, merchant photos) belongs to its respective owners. The Service is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only.

The Service links to and depends on third-party services (Supabase, Vercel, Google, Anthropic, Mapbox, and others — see our Privacy Policy). Their terms apply when you interact with them through us. We aren't responsible for their availability or content.

You can stop using the Service or delete your account at any time (email support@wildwoodlive.app). We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or at our discretion (we'll try to give notice when reasonable). On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we keep anonymized usage data per our Privacy Policy.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, accurate, or free of bugs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to the Service is limited to USD $100. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages (lost vacations, missed sunsets, ruined beach days, etc.).

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey. Both parties consent to jurisdiction there.

We may update these Terms over time. Material changes will be announced in-app and (for signed-in users) by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
